Share in the OFICanada #OrangutanTogether Campaign

Did you know an adult male orangutan’s arm span can easily exceed two meters?

Let’s all Orangutan Together! #OrangutanTogether

We may all be feeling apart but one thing that brings us all together is our love for orangutans.

Download these colouring pages to learn about orangutans, play some games, and colour in our “Orangutan Together” picture. You can draw yourself on one side of the orangutan and someone you are missing most on the other. This way you can #OrangutanTogether!

Are you a student looking for a cool project to show your classmates and teacher during a video lesson? Or a parent looking for a fun project for yourself and your children? Or maybe you are a teacher looking to bring orangutans into your lesson plan?

How to #orangutantogether with us with 3 easy steps:

  1. Download, print, and colour the picture. Be as creative as possible! The jungle is full of color!
  2. Upload your picture to Facebook or Instagram and share your drawing with the person you drew. Tag OFICanada so that we can showcase your masterpieces! Use the hashtag #orangutantogether!
    • Facebook tag @orangutanfoundationcanada
    • Instagram tag @orangutan.canada
  3. DM or email us your address and your name or the name of your artist and we will send you an authentic orangutan lover #oranutantogether sticker!

Disclaimer: by tagging us in your pictures you consent to us sharing your picture on social media. We won’t share your personal information that is DM’d or emailed. Thank you so much for participating!

Please show and share your drawing with your class, friends, and family your drawing and share our website with your teacher – together we can share our love of orangutans around the world. The more you share the more people will learn about orangutans and how we can all help them survive.
We here in Canada and many across the world have experienced major changes over the past weeks and so have the staff and orangutans in Indonesia. (See our post about these changes here)
We are all getting used to being, learning, and working from home. The staff and orangutans are getting used to more hand washing and less contact between each other and the other orangutans.
Maybe we are missing our friends, family, teachers, co-workers, or grandparents. The orangutans may also be missing a caregiver who is quarantining at home.
Just like we are all grateful for our Essential Service workers keeping us fed, healthy, and our homes and towns functioning, the orangutans are grateful for whatever you may be able to donate during this time. They still need to be fed, the staff who care for them must be paid, and the Care Center and medical facilities must continue working.

Enjoy this time together with your family, enjoy some coloring, and #OrangutanTogether!
