OFI Canada is excited to unfold our new website! Early last year OFI Canada made the decision to add the “International” to our name to ensure Canadians of our close relationship to our main sister organization Orangutan Foundation International. We have now taken the next step to create a new website for us to share our work with Canadians. OFI and OFI Canada are both lead by expert primatologist Dr. Biruté Mary Galdikas (a Canadian herself). This most recent incarnation of OFI in Canada is excited to be moving ahead as a contributing OFI chapter to provide an avenue for Canadians to support Dr. Galdikas’ work in Indonesia protecting, rehabilitating and researching orangutans.
We hope you will find our new site to be informative, responsive, and easy to navigate! We hope you will continue to view our site as it grows with us over the coming years. Here you can learn about our current events, ongoing projects, and about OFI Canada activities both in Canada and in Indonesia.
