OFI Canada is thrilled to have newly pledged support from Evernden Performance of Calgary, Alberta. This sports training facility is founded in a focus on the health and well being of athletes. Today, they are expanding their focus to consider the health and well being of the entire planet through supporting the work of Orangutan Foundation International Canada (OFIC) and Dr. Birute Mary Galdikas.
Evernden Performance’s pledge to support OFI Canada is a part of what one of the company’s co-founders and trainers, Taylor Evernden, calls their “desire to give back to the community”. OFI Canada is moved by and grateful for Taylor’s understanding of the importance of our work in Indonesia, and how conservation of our world’s tropical rainforests (and the species within them) connect back to the lives of everyone on earth, including those of Canadians.
