OFIC Name Change

As you may have noticed, our name has changed. We have added the word “International.” We are Canadians helping orangutans in Indonesia and to make that clear we have decided to make our foundation name better reflect this. We are still the same people doing the same work here in Canada. Our work in Indonesia still directly supports OFI Canada projects alongside the OFI projects you can read about in the “About” section of this site. We just thought it was important for people to know that we are a sister organization to the Orangutan Foundation International (OFI) run by Canadians here in Canada. By supporting OFI Canada you are helping to support the work of Dr. Biruté Galdikas and the amazing staff in Indonesia; saving orangutans and their rainforest home.
